We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Media Coordinator to join our team at Glory Gospel Church. As the Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our media operations. You will be responsible for planning, producing, and distributing various forms of media content to enhance our worship experiences, engage our congregation, and reach a wider audience. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, creative vision, and excellent communication skills.

About Glory Gospel Church

Glory Gospel Church’s mission is to maintain the public worship of Almighty God, to carry on a program of local evangelism, to edify the believers in the faith, and to propagate the Gospel throughout the world, according to the Bible, the inspired Word of God. In helping us fulfill this mission, we are looking for a dedicated Worship Director to join our team and help bring our mission to life.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the church leadership and ministry teams to develop media strategies that align with the church’s vision and goals.
  • Plan and coordinate the production of multimedia content, including video recordings, live streams, audio recordings, and graphic design elements.
  • Manage and operate audiovisual equipment during worship services, events, and special programs.
  • Edit and post-produce media content to ensure a high-quality and professional presentation.
  • Maintain the church’s media library, organizing and archiving media assets for easy access and future use.
  • Stay up to date with emerging media technologies and trends, suggesting innovative ideas for enhancing our media presence.
  • Coordinate with volunteers and recruit, train, and supervise a team of media volunteers to assist with various tasks, such as camera operation, video editing, and sound engineering.
  • Oversee the setup and operation of lighting, sound systems, and projection equipment during worship services and events.
  • Assist in managing the church’s social media platforms, website, and online streaming platforms to promote engagement and expand the church’s online presence.

Qualifications

  • A strong commitment to Christian values and the mission of Glory Gospel Church.
  • A bachelor’s degree in media production, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in media production, including video editing, sound engineering, and graphic design.
  • Proficiency in operating audiovisual equipment and software, such as video cameras, audio mixers, editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
  • Experience in live streaming and managing social media platforms is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings, as required for worship services and special events.
