Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop a visual content strategy that aligns with the church’s mission and vision.
• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos that showcase various church events, sermons, and activities.
• Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear, to ensure optimal recording quality.
• Conduct pre-production tasks such as scriptwriting, storyboarding, location scouting, and talent coordination.
• Capture compelling footage of worship services, guest speakers, special events, and community outreach initiatives.
• Edit videos using professional software, adding graphics, music, and effects to create polished and engaging final products.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize videos for various digital platforms, including social media, the church website, and streaming services.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging video techniques to ensure the church’s video content remains fresh and innovative.
• Assist in live streaming services and events, ensuring smooth operation of equipment and high-quality production values.
• Manage video archives and maintain an organized library of footage for future use.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Videographer, preferably in a similar setting or within the religious or nonprofit sector.
• Proficiency in operating professional video equipment, including cameras, audio recorders, lighting, and accessories.
• Strong knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and the ability to create visually compelling content.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to capture and edit footage that effectively communicates the church’s message and emotions.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and individuals.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate church events and services.
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing your videography and editing skills is required.
